Troll 2 is a film that has gained a notorious reputation among movie enthusiasts as one of the best-worst films ever made. Released in 1990, it has achieved cult status for its unintentional hilarity and mind-boggling absurdity. However, it's important to note that Troll 2 is not a sequel to the original Troll, nor does it have any actual trolls in it.

The film follows the story of the Waits family who visit the town of Nilbog (spell it backward) for a vacation, only to discover that the townspeople are vegetarian goblins intent on turning them into plants to devour them. The plot alone sets the stage for a nonsensical and baffling experience.

From the acting to the dialogue and the special effects, Troll 2 is an exercise in glorious mediocrity. The performances range from wooden and awkward to hilariously over-the-top, leaving viewers wondering if the actors were aware of the film's campiness.

What makes Troll 2 so entertaining, despite its numerous flaws, is its sheer commitment to its own absurdity. Every scene seems to defy logic and common sense, delivering moments that leave audiences simultaneously laughing and scratching their heads in disbelief.

While Troll 2 may be considered a "so bad, it's good" film, it manages to captivate viewers with its unintentional humor and unintentionally quotable lines. It has become a staple for movie nights and gatherings where audiences gather to revel in the film's deliciously terrible charm.

In conclusion, Troll 2 is a prime example of a cinematic trainwreck that somehow manages to entertain through its sheer incompetence. It is a must-watch for fans of cult classics and those who appreciate the so-bad-it's-good genre. Just be prepared to enter a world where trolls don't exist, vegetarian goblins reign, and logic takes a backseat to bewildering amusement.
